Are you looking for your next trail partner?  Do you have the skills to start a young horse?  Or, do you have a friend or trainer that can start a young horse for you?

I have two terrific trail prospects that are looking for a new home.  Peanut and Twilight were born on our farm in 2009.  My plan was to start them under saddle and eventually find them new homes.  Between my business and my kids, I am finding it very difficult to set aside the time necessary to dedicate toward training Peanut and Twilight.  I’ve decided to sell them at bargain prices to buyers who are willing and able to give them the time and training they deserve.

SB Peanut Butter — “Peanut” will be 4yo this spring.  He is a tall, flashy guy with a beautiful mane and tail.  His coat is smoky black with slight roaning.  His coat fades to a chocolate color in summer, but is much darker in winter. Peanut has been started under saddle, but he is still very green.  He has not been ridden since June 2012.

 

 

SB Twilight will be 4yo this spring.  She is calm and steady and loves people and attention.  She was born black, but is slowly turning gray.  She has not yet been started under saddle, but she is halter trained, stands nicely for the vet and farrier, loads in the trailer, and loves to walk on obstacles. She has a sturdy “mountain horse” build and is currently a little under 15hh.
