Marina Parris

Marina

Marina

Marina was born and grew up in California where she completed her undergraduate and graduate degrees in business. After working in the U.S.A for 6 years, primarily in facilitating process improvement teams, she moved to Switzerland in 1992. In Switzerland she has worked for international companies in the areas of quality and process management, training and development, export, tourism and buying.

Since childhood, Marina has always loved animals and the outdoors. In the fall of 2002, she decided to pursue these passions and began a 3-year study program to learn from well-known horsemen. During this time on ranches in France and in the U.S.A, she learned a great deal about horses, as well as their interactions with people.

In her new line of work with horses and people, Marina combines her previous professional experience in the business world with her knowledge and experience gained while learning about horses. As a result, she now offers groundwork/riding for horse owners and leadership/teambuilding/personal coaching with horses for non-horse people. Additionally, she has completed a certification in horse behaviour, coaching (ICF-certified) and is an Epona Approved Instructor in the area of equine-facilitated learning.

Marina may be contacted via her websites www.pferdalspartner.ch and www.epona-schweiz.ch.
